    Take your debit card and don't carry alot of cash. Don't wear flashy expensive jewelry, Not just in SE Asia but when you travel anywhere.

    Take a bug repellent with Deet. Dengue Fever is in SE Asia.

    When you're haggling over prices remember sometimes you're dickering over a few cents.

    Mostly just use your common sense. And a smile goes a long way!
