Yahoo messenger is not working? :(?

So I have a yahoo mail account and my messenger is not working. The option to use messenger is still there but the little lightning bolt is grey. When I click on it, to sign in and be available, it just says 'sign in to messenger to see who's online.'

I am signed in (at least I'm pretty sure I am) and it's not working. My friends have had the same problem. Any ideas?

    Sadly im getting the same problems as everyone else here. It seems that the Android app and the Messenger Software for windows are getting the problems too... They can send but cannot recieve messages... Something is really wrong with this...
