Legacy youtube account and new gmail account link?
Okay I have A legacy youtube account that has a hotmail adress as the primary email and I have a gmail account. I want to change my youtube legacys email to my gmail adress but it says "Sorry, a Gmail address is not allowed to be the primary address of this account." What the hell? please help I cant stand being forced to sign in and out of the two accounts.

If you created the YouTube account before May 2009, you may be able do it by following the instructions here http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl... , you need to do it through YouTube rather than trying to change your Google account email address. If you created it after May 2009 you can't change the account.
