lol, no..squirrels are much cuter. :)
I am surrounded by tall beautiful trees,
where they have made their home, and
I have the pleasure of seeing them
every day.

Rat are universally reviled. There have been a few famous mice, Mickey, Mighty and Speedy Gonzalez, but mostly they're pests. The most famous squirrel, is Rocket J. (Rocky) Squirrel, who with Bullwinkle the Moose, risked life and liberty engaging in dangerous counterintelligence work against the KGB during the Cold War. In his merit, all squirrels are honored.

Yowee no. Having raised 3 from infancy the markings, distinguishing features, even attitudes are quit different. I'd pet a Squirrel but not a Rat. For them we use bait, if the barn cats don't get to em first.

Nope! :) I can easily tell a squirrel from a mouse / rat just by the tails. Those bushy tails are hard to miss. ^.^
I hope you are feeling a bit better, Scooter. :(

No, I have never killed a squirrel, but there were a few dead rats around over the years.

They are in the rodent family. But never confuse the 3 at all.
