A double standard that a lot of men hold...?

He probably doesn't even notice that he's talking to girls and does not realize how much of a hypocrite he is. It's mostly because he obviously views the girls he talks to as just friends and would never think of them otherwise. However, he does not know everything that you are thinking and maybe thinks that you are attracted to those guys. He's just paranoid. By "He", I meant any guy who does that. There are a lot of double standards for both genders in this world. It's rather annoying. Girls have done this many times as well so don't be thinking it's only guys.

Girls get mad/jealous at guys when they talk to other girls too so it's not a double standard.

Im gonna go with insecurity, that he feels you don't want to get to know him which would make no sense if you are making the effort to. And as for the talking to other girls depeneding how good of friends he is with themlet him go he may be getting advice of female friends of what to do next that he feels comfortable around but if he is just talking to any girl than keeping talking to other guys. Until he says something about it to your face than keep doing what your doing :) Besides if all goes well that will all be gone after a while in a relationship

Happens as frequently with women as with men. It's natural to feel a little jealousy if the person you're really into is giving attention to other possible candidates. Just be wary if the guy is so immature that he will try to erode your self esteem to try and date you.
