Did Obama really believe the Benghazi terrorist attacks happened because of a YouTube video?
There are literally thousands of YouTube videos that make fun of Muhammad, so why did Obama say this one particular amatuer YouTube video caused the terrorist attack?

Of course not. He's a lot of things, but he's not stupid. He was aware of this attack from the start - when the embassy called the State Department at 5:00. He met with his advisors and said he went to bed.
Read between the lines. NO WAY he did not know, and NO WAY did he go to bed.
He just needed us to believe it until after the election.

Liberals will carefully factor out he not ever "immediately" tied the video to Beghazi. He simply mentioned things like your quote that he knew would make people believe they have been related. Like he on no account stated "Sorry" when he went world wide saying how unhealthy the united states has been and he'll be nicer. No "apology." however we all see by means of it. Hell, his disinformation about Libya used to be so good, I didn't even discover there wasn't even a video protest there unless final week! He is this kind of just right quilt-upper!!

Do you believe everything that right wing conspiracy nuts say?
Early talking point said that protests revolved around a video, taken from Youtube and released on the internet in Egypt. Those protests were used to to help the terrorists INFILTRATE and attack first the embassy, then the consulate.
As new information is learned, talking points were adjusted to adhere with what was known. But the right only sees what they want to see, and only look for the means to damage the president.

He says he told us from day one it was a terrorist attack.
Didn't you hear him in the debates and on TV lately?
Of course, that doesn't explain why they changed the talking points and trotted out Susan Rice to lie to us all about some video....
For two solid weeks, Carney, Rice, and anyone who would say anything from this administration blamed the video protests. Carney dropped the bomb on Air Force One and actually said "Of course it was a terrorist attack" two weeks after the attack.
THERE WAS NO PROTEST AT THIS CONSULATE!!!! NEVER!!! NOT ONE!!!
And Obama knew it for weeks and lied to us about it.
Addition: King Mob, you have drank the koolaid. Obama is proud to have lemmings like you buy all his bull and keep him in office.

He most likely was running weapons to terrorists and the video was a diversion.
What was supposed to be a text book kidnapping of Stevens, was fouled up when the two ex-seals showed up, having disregarded the order to stand down.

No. But he is arrogant enough and thinks so little of the average voter to believe that the average voter is gullible enough, stupid enough and uninformed enough to believe it.

At the time there were protests over that short film but it doesn't excuse the Obama administration's attempts to downplay the attack.
