Can any conservative explain how the IRS gets your medical records under Obamacare?

They are going to be the action agency with the responsibility to enforce payments.

Do you not think they already have access to any and every facet of your life.

The Daily Caller right-wing paper in D.C. referred to a story about a class action suit in San Diego but the story does not say how or why the IRS wanted medical records. They are obviously electronic records. The suit declines to name the individuals who are the plaintiffs or the individual IRS agents.

I dont know why the IRS would utilize the information unless someone is trying to imply that the IRS is looking at medical records to see who is insured. I am inclined to think this was a set up job to indict the IRS to indirectly discredit the President.

The IRS has only the power to collect taxes. Under the 2014 mandate, they will be calculating tax credits and or tax penalties related to health insurance declared on your tax return.

Uh, the IRS get's your medical records in order to make sure you're Obamacare compliant. It's in Obamacare. Probably by email, or perhaps fax.

Additional: The IRS is in charge of making sure you're Obamacare complaint. They can look at your medical records in order to make sure that you are complaint. It's in the Obamacare bill. Then, they cross reference it with your tax returns. I don't know what you don't understand.

The IRS is going to be responsible for enforcing Obamacare. That's just great.

I'm not aware of any conservative saying that. However, it's written in the law itself, in plain black and white, that the IRS will collect the penalty from those who don't get or who lose their health insurance.
