Has the vehicle sat for a quantity days without being pushed? The oil might have drained off the astounding of the cylinders, ensuing in a knock. Did the sound provide up after in basic terms some seconds? in case you pay attention it returned, communicate on your mechanic approximately checking the two the oil pump and doing a compression verify. Neither one are very costly now, yet once you do have a extreme situation (like a failing oil pump), the implications of ignoring it could smash your engine. there is not any way of understanding what motives a knock like this. possibly the emissions place de-tuned your engine to get it to bypass? (i've got had them try this to me) if so, all you're able to desire is a song-up. returned, there is not any way of telling except you're taking the vehicle to a good diagnostic mechanic.

might be your starter. have some one tap on the starter while you try to start it again. its located next to the transmission.

if you jump started it make sure the car thats running revs the engine for more boost.

Battery terminals arent fully in contact with the battery terminal post.

    Tighten them firmly!
