Is it possible to say the name "GW Bush" without being accused of "blaming Bush"?

For instance, the inspector general in charge of the IRS investigation was appointed by Bush.

He just released his report on the IRS scandal in which he indicated there was "no political motivation, and no involvement outside the IRS."

By pointing out this fact, will conservatives accuse me of "blaming Bush?"

No, sorry, you'll be blamed by Republicans (with no sources) no matter what you say. They make this stuff up as they go, you know. And you're right again.

No. The Republicans would like to forget that GW Bush really was the last Republican president. They would also like to forget the incredible screw ups that he was responsible for, like attacking a sovereign country under false pretenses, namely Iraq.

"He just released his report on the IRS scandal in which he indicated there was "no political motivation, and no involvement outside the IRS.""

Yes, and we now know he lied. Bush's appointees weren't all Republican loyalists. Another appointee, for example, Commissioner Shulman, donated to the Democratic National Committee.

To answer your question, yes, it is possible, but it still sounds like you're trying to deflect back to Bush.

I see where the confusion lies... they thought I wasn't trying to blame Bush and that I just came across as blaming him...

    Oh... O.K. I see...

    Let me clarify that.

    I DO blame Bush.

I blame him for fabricating a case for war he knew was fraudulent and for all the consequences of those actions.

History began on January 20, 2009. Anybody who talks about anything before that is a communist atheist muslim.

No of course not. Conservatives are always talking about taking responsibility, yet they never do when it's their fault.
