I have a date in 2 hours, he won't give me any details other than where to meet him and he said to dress up in comfortable clothing. Does this mean jeans and a tshirt?

That's right maybe a belt with your jeans if you have one and a nice/cute tshirt would be just fine.

Yes, it's perfect. You are right. Jeans and Tshirt is the only thing that comes in mind.
As a man, if I say this, then I think I also expect my girl to wear Jeans and TShirt.
