Excuses not to hang out with someone?

I want to hang out with my best friend in the morning, but also my other friend wants to come.. My best friend doesn't want her there cause she wants to be alone with me to get bonding time. How do I tell her nicely that she can't come or an excuse not to come?

Making an excuse could easily backfire, which may hurt the relationship between you and your other friend. Be honest, but not blunt. Tell the uninvited friend that you and the friend that invited you haven't hung out in awhile and need some time to bond. If your friend seems upset by this, and wants to come just to hang out with you, arrange to hang out with just her another time so she doesn't feel so left out. Good luck! :)

if you want to be truthful say: "im sorry, maybe another time would be great, but me and ???? planned to hang out a while ago,and we were going to do that tomorrow, maybe another time, thank for understanding:)"

If you want to use an excuse: "sorry i'm grounded"

"sorry, i have been backed up on homework/ chores, and if i dont do them i will fail/ be told off etc"

"sorry my family is making me go to this boring thing....."

good luck:D i know exactly how you feel xxxx
