Drawing Ideas for fun?

draw something on http://www.drawsum.com./ it's a huge canvas. as in huge! that anyone can draw on :) will stay there forever (if no one else draws over it).

at the very least it will inspire you, as it's got millions of doodles of all types on.

Maybe draw Ryan Gosling from the movie Drive. That film's great. :P And Ryan Gosling is really cool, because he's so calm and collected and he doesn't speak much. His actions speak louder than words.

Of course, another movie you could draw from is, Lord of the Rings. All the characters are fantastic in their own way.

Another movie could be Chopper. The main character, Chopper, is based on a real guy.. he had his ears sliced off in prison and he has silver teeth. He also has a load of tattoos.

A song you could take inspiration from could be, 'Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland, 1945'. The lyrics are just great and should allow your imagination to run free. But I'm sure there are many other songs out there that could do this job better.

I have bought their course because I wanted to be able to draw realistic portraits and I felt that I did not have the skills to produce a beautiful realistic portrait.

This course has been a great help, although I still need loads of practice I feel that I have learned so much through following this course in techniques and observation. The lessons are so easy to follow especially with the aid of the process maps which show which steps to tackle next.
