What's the best way to remove body hair?
Cause with waxing, don't you have to wait for the hair to grow out to like half an inch before you can wax it again? D:

Hi!
I was very unlucky to inherit thick black hair from my dad all over my body. I mean ALL over. My mum never had that problem and I didn't have an older sister who could tell me what to do. So, I tried to find a way to deal with this issue. I have tried everything except sugaring: threading, waxing, epilators, shaving, home IPL and laser.
Threading - I only used this for my eyebrows. I believe for me the hair grows back quicker opposed to waxing. It's less painful than waxing for sure. My experience with threading is a 6/10
Waxing - I never had professional waxing. I was way too embarrassed and at the age of 13 I wasn't making money I was now to go get waxed every month. I did try home liquid wax - where you microwave the wax first. That was a fail. I ended up with more wax on the floor and bathtub than my actual skin. I did try the wax where you rub it between your fingers then pull apart the two plastic sheets and use that. It did work for a bit but after awhile the hair did not get pulled out - my hair at that point was TOO thick for hair. My experience with waxing at home was a 2/10.
Epilators - I used a Braun Silk Epil 7. It was too painful anywhere but my legs. I didn't like it. I was getting ingrown hairs. 3/10 in my experience.
Shaving - Oh God! I didn't know at a young age that you had to use clean razors and chuck away disposable razors after a few times of use. I would use one razor for months at a time. I ended up with ingrown hairs all over my legs. Not even a fresh razor could properly cut my hair on my legs because it was SO thick. Shaving in my experience 2/10 but NOW because I know how to work it a 8/10.
Home IPL - I used VISS IPL (Intense Pulse Lightening). I used it on my thick, and ingrown hairs on my leg. It did work but $500 for it and it barely lasted 6 months. You can get refils but it wasn't worth it. However VISS IPL helped immensely with my hair on my legs however I still had ingrown and the hair was still thick. 8/10
Laser - I am getting laster pretty much everywhere on my body. After 3-4 sessions on my legs, I have to shave my legs pretty much every month now - opposed to twice a day before back in the days. The hair is a lot thinner and lighter now! I would say laser hair removal is pretty much the best. It is not a permanent hair remover... it's a 90% hair reduction. After two sessions on my full arms, I cannot see a single hair but I can still feel a little bit of stubbles... I have about 6 sessions left so hopefully I will get smooth stubble free arms. Laser hair removal can be a bit expensive but if you calculate the amount of shaving cream, razors, epilators, professional waxing for every area you need on your body and calculate it for the next 30-40 years, lasering is MUCH more cheaper in the long run. 10/10 :) :)
That's my experience :)

There are three ways.
1. Shaving - this will remove the hair, but not right from the root. It will grow back, probably thicker but you can keep on top of this by shaving regularly.
2. Hair removal cream - I would recommend Veet. Hair removal cream basically burns your hair away from you, but obviously it shouldn't actually burn you - make sure you test a small area to check if you are allergic. The hair, again, will not be removed from the root, and will grow back quite quickly. I have also found that using removal cream is not always the most accurate as sometimes patches of hair can be left behind. However, if you a thorough and make sure you are not allergic it could be very successful as it is completely pain free. Smells a bit though ;)
3. Waxing - this will remove the hair directly from the root making the surface of you skin really smooth. However, it can be very painful and the hair will still grow back.

Waxing for sure with anything other than waxing it will usually grow back stubbly and with waxing I don't wait till it gets long i just wax all them hairs out.

Wax it first when it's long, and when the hair starts to grow back use a hair removal cream

omg rosiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get your butt back on fs! you popped in & disappeared again >:O
& to answer your q- honestly, every method has its pros & cons.
after waxing you can go for weeks before it even starts growing in... but once it does you have to a) wait till it's long enough so the strips can grip the hair (bunch of waxing sites say: "the hair should be at least 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch for best results"
and b) for the hair to grow out in all the places (you know how sometimes they dont grow at an even pace depending on the area of the leg). there are *some* specially designed strips that say they can grip even the littlest hairs (like the veet ready to use wax strips for short hair which says "Effective on hair as short as 1.5mm - legs, arms, underarms and bikini line") ...im skeptical of those but wouldnt hurt to try.
shaving- shaving just sucks.
epilator = like waxing but this **** is more painful! ...& ingrown hairs...yaaay. i couldnt handle the pain so i returned mine lmao.
nair- also sucks.
laser: my number one choice. ......if i had a job. ......which i dont.

Buy a epilator. It hurts at first but it removes hair at the roots (just like waxing). You get used to the pain. Eventually.

In all honesty, laser is the only way. I've seen women with stubble and beards find very good results with it. The only down-side is the cost of it!
For now I'm happy with threading/waxing/shaving but one day I will get laser done :-)

I believe to it's to know the meaning of the word sterile, what does it is single blade razors and I know that used ones have to be summersed in scalding hot water because if and when you infect a region of skin your removing hair from it's likely you'll have some weird mindsets. What if you prepared the hairy regions or patches or whatever with a substance you'd wash off and that would make it ready and good to remove unwanted hair on your body, that's now what would be to learn.sounds right sounds good sounds like it,good luck.
