I have IBS-A and today is a constipation day, I decided to try milk of magnesia. I took two table spoons about 20 minutes ago and drank a water bottle (16.9oz) how long until it'll work? I also have a doctor's appointment at 2:45 tomorrow, will I be done going by then?

Usually about 12 hours. Best to do an enema and get it over with now.
