What can I do to increase horsepower? (1977 Camaro Z28)?

I have a 1977 Z28 Camaro with the original 350 and tranny. When I bought it, it came with a B&M shift kit, a Summit Street and Strip 600cfm carb, and high performance MSD distributor. I've added little things, like a K&N air filter, high performance spark plugs and wires, and new fuel filters. Now I KNOW I need a true dual exhaust to gain HP, and I know that I can replace the Cam, Pistons and things, but what specific things, whether big or small can I do to gain horsepower? (i.e. what size cam, kind of pistons, best exhaust choice, high flow fuel pump, whatever.) please help!

Update:

The exhaust goes from sh*tty cast iron manifolds down to a Y pipe through one cat, and then back to dual exhaust. Would shorty headers and a highflow cat workout if i didnt want to redo the whole thing with long tubes and true dual?

    Pull that junk small block and install a good big block. You can buy a brand new 454 for around $5000 and a remanufactured one for considerably less. A stupid 350 will never make the horsepower and torque of a big block. When you get all the crying over this statement look and see what the true pro stockers, pro mods and such are running. Not small blocks. Small blocks are for lesser classes.

    Around 170 hp and 250 ftlbs of tq. In stock form high 14's at best. Buy a dodge little red express circa 1978 fastest production vehicle at the time. Or plan on doing some suspensin upgrades to get yout T/A to hook up and it wouldn't take too much to make that pontiac wake up. Especially if you get some ram air 4 heads

    A correctly sized single exhaust on a naturally aspirated 90 degree firing order V8 will always make more torque and HP up to about 7,000 rpm than a dual exhaust will.

    Forged pistons. Twin turbos. Aluminum Vortec heads with a fuel injection kit. Or say, "Screw it!" Go quick and dirty with a NOS system with the largest flow you can get. It would be cheap and now. No waiting in line. The money you save on mods you can use to buy N20 and gas.

    Lol dont listen to him. One it should already have dual exhaust originally. Second u can get a 383 stroker kit but it has to be bored .30 over. Third get a 3/4 hydraulic roller cam and hydraulic roller lift kit. Finally get headers.

    Paint it yellow- +50 HP

    Black Ice air freshener- +5HP/per

    Spoiler- +100 hp

    Lower it- +20 hp
