If you didn't try to start the engine, then the fuel system doesn't need cleaning, only the tank has to be drained.

If you even put the key into the "ON" position and it kicked in the fuel pump then the system up to the fuel rail has to be cleaned.

If you tried to start it, then everything needs cleaning.

That would have taken some doing as the nozzle for unleaded is SMALLER than the one for diesel, so a diesel nozzle would not have fitted in to where you put fuel.

Hell yeah it will! Do not start that thing! Have it towed & the dealer will drain n' purge the fuel system. The car will also need a new fuel filter.

I don't think it will do any damage, but a gas engine won't run on diesel. Depending on how much you put in, you may find yourself stranded.

How much? you can dilute it with more gas if its only alil.

if you filled the tank you will obviously need to drain it yourself or have someone do it.

don,t start it because it could burn the valves up ! have it towed to the garage and they probably will drain the tank and blow out the lines and fill it back up !

uh...yes. Stop. Tow to mechanic, pull tank, empty and flush fuel system, change and clean carb and ignition system and plugs....

    Do not start it again.

Yes. Been there, done that. Don't drive it. Have it towed to a garage.
