Does removing tattoos hurt?

I know getting a tattoo can hurt depending where you get it or how skinny you are. And I hear removing it hurts a lot more, has anyone removed a tattoo, and did it hurt?

    I saw a show about this guy who had ALL of his tattoos removed (he had a lot!) and when he got out, he was all red and he said it was the worst pain he could ever imagine in his entire life! D;

    I want a tattoo removed too.. I have had laser hair removal, ive heard the pain is somewat similar... That didnt feel good. Some places hurt more than others, the worst part was you didnt know when it would hurt it wasnt a steady pain it would start, stop, start, stop all over for an hour.

    Not all of the Tattoo Removal methods are that painful.

    Chrissy had a tattoo removed, and she told me that it hurt like Hell :O

    alot worse than getting tattooed . laser disperses the ink leaving white scars ..

    easier and cheaper to get a cover-up tattoo ....
