Sansa m230, not recognized, no driver?

I have a SanDisk Sansa m230 and when I plug it into my desktop it says it's unrecognized and has no drivers installed. Also I'm not %100 on what edition of Windows I have but, my computer is pretty old and slow. Can someone help me put music onto my MP3 player?

Make sure there isn't a HOLD or a LOCK switch activated.

Make sure the player is fully charge (some players won't accept charge being locked).

If there's an internal reset button- use a pen or a paperclip to press it.

Visit Sandisk's official website and make sure the latest firmware updated are installed (according to the order being released if you missed a few).

If all of the above doesn't work- try to reformat the player as a portable flash drive (WARNING this will delete everything on it- songs and firmware- but you can find it on the official website for download).

Sansa M230 isn't properly suited with ITunes via record format . Sansa M230 the record format it incredibly is only supported is a .MP3 and .WMA. if the songs that you bought form ITUNES has a record format of .MP3 and .WMA you may pass it to the Sansa. you additionally can attempt to touch ITUNES a thank you to transform archives to .mp3
