The NBA is doing it for the ratings. Miami-Whoever will generate much higher ratings then Spurs-Griz. The NBA wants Miami to play in the prime viewing slots, which are weekends. So the Heat get to play Friday and Sunday.

I was thinking the same thing, but when I looked at the entire schedule not so much....
They will get a nice rest between game 3...Which would favor the Spurs more than the Grizzlies.
Game 2 on Tuesday, and game 3 on Saturday....Heat will play every other day games 1-4

It's because the Grizzlies and Spurs ended there series faster. The Pacers had another 2 days before they ended there series so it's only reasonable for the MIA-IND series to be pushed back 2-3 days. Also about the viewers thing while it makes some sense Thurs is also a big day (TNT plays the big games usually Thursday) for the NBA so not sure about that.

Its because both the Spurs and the Grizz ended their series in 5, so their series starts before the Heat Pacers. Because it took Indiana 6 games to close out the knicks and everyone else only took 5, the team playing Indiana (in this case the Heat) get a little extra rest to allow Indiana to finish their series, travel to Miami, and get a day of rest.

of course a nationally televised activity would be rigged. They make plenty and fairly some funds by human beings tuning right into a activity. And the NBA is categorised as entertainment. All activities are categorised as entertainment.
