NBA: Should the Clippers just hire Byron Scott knowing his relationship with Paul?

Byron is still a great coach, and Chris Paul have huge respect for the guy, hiring him makes it more of a no brainer for Paul to comeback what do you think?

There are a lot of great available coaches, I'd try Nate McMillian too.

  • At first I though Byron would be a good coach for Brooklyn, now that Vinny is out I can see Byron coaching the clips..with decent or avg talent he's been a good coach,Cleveland doesn't count they've been in rebuild mode for the last few years

Paul can trust Scott so if say it worth a try

i think it would be a good idea. byron scott obviuosly worked well with paul in NO and he didn't have much other talent then. now paul has has blake griffin and jordan wich would be the perfect coaching scenario for scott. despite that phil jackson could be a great fit because he could mold griffin like he has done in the past. if byron scott is chosen look for a championship in the next couple years. if jackson is hired look for a few championships in the next 5-7 years.

    that's not a reason to hire B.S.

they didnt win anything in Nerlens, so their relationship is irrelevant
