love is stronger.it is a positive emotion and one reacts emotionally to love more than hate.
first sight love may grow/stay forever with you in your memories too.
because you did mention 'at first sight'. - hating a stranger just at the first look may be actually a temporary misleading reaction.

Love at first sight . though its infatuation but still its stronger than hate . also we dont hate someone at first sight itself , it takes long process to hate someone really . but love happens instantly also its strong too , it makes them sleepless and get lost in thoughts ....

Hate at first sight..cause i believe that person might have shown too much negative waves in first meet else at first sight..so probably he/she may be a bad person..
