what causes itchy gums?

My gums on the right side upper jaw are itchy.

    Itchiness can be caused by an inflammation of the lungs. This can occur by many things. You may have gingivitus, you may be allergic to something...the list goes on. My gums were itchy when I had rubber spacers in my mouth and it went away once they were taken out. I had a mild allergic reaction to it.

    maybe you need more fresh air? Also maybe stress is making you itchy. But I don't know if your under a lot of stress or something.
