Since USB Loader GX 3.0 (& similar USB Loaders), WBFS partitioning has been depreciated in favor of PC standards (FAT32 & NTFS formats) to make it a LOT EASIER for those going discless to utilize their USB HDD space.
Disc images will need to be in the WBFS format (which is just a trimmed down version of an ISO file), but you can cram more games in the same HDD space.
