Xbox One vs Playstation 4?
How do you feel about the recent revealings of the Xbox One console and the Playstation 4 games? Which do you think is better? Which one do you think will succeed more than the other? What are the differences? Basically, compare the two. Which one is BETTER?
Also, what do you think about all this controversial stuff, like how Xbox One has no backwards compatibility? Just consider it :)

I say you really can't compare the two. PS4 has not revealed everything and same with the xbox one. Its actually funny how the PS4 and the xbox one's reveals are opposite. PS4 refused to show and talk about some stuff that the xbox one showed but the xbox one refused to show what the PS4 did. I plan on not buying either till the price drop so after awhile of both being out. This will save me money and give me time for an ultimate review. I honestly think E3 will be the major sway of those who buy the day it will come out. I also look at xbox as the better system for online measures and PS4 with broader choice of games. It really comes down to the experience over all in solo pay, multi play, games, and the gameplay of the games. To be honest I own a xbox360, PS3, and a wii and for the longest I liked the wii the best because it had 3 (only 3 -_-) games me and my brother loved: mkw, ssbb, and mh3.

I feel both system are good, but I feel the PS4 is better for a gamer, while the Xbox One is targeted more at people who play occasionally, and are looking more into all around entertainment, while the PS4 will still have access to Netflix and Amazon Instant Prime which serves the entertainment portion aside from gaming for the PS4. The Xbox Ones major downfalls is the only one extra use for a game, so this effectively kills most Microsoft used games, and the mandatory install of a game could be very made, I don't believe they specified if you can play the game while installing most likely not though. Now the PS4 is trying to make gaming more mainstream by introducing more social gaming; on a pervious note the with the PS4 you can play a demo, without downloading it, and if you want the game, you can start downloading it and continue playing it. Now on the issue of exclusives we know which one will have more exclusives. Also a big problem is the Xbox One's "always online", now while this is not true completely, to play the system does need to have a connection of some sort, that connection doesn't have to be working all the time to play games but it must exist. Oh and both systems lack backwards compatibility unless in the sense that the Xbox One can't emulate the 360 and first Xbox software.
Overall from all I heard I can concluded that the PS4 is a better console so far.

The PlayStation 4 will be the better console if Microsoft keeps making these asinine ideas. The Xbox One is more focused on entertainment and TV, the true experience for living rooms if you will, while the PlayStation is more game orientated. From what I read, the two machines look like they have the same specs, even though Microsoft never reveal the real specs, and that's one of the disappointing aspects of the reveal for the Xbox One. Also, the pre-owned fees, the need to sign on to Xbox Live every 24 hours, and the focus on entertainment and the Kinect also distracts most gamers, and this will lead former Xbox fans to either go to the PS4 or just build a PC. E3 will decide the Xbox One's fate, but until then, the news just isn't looking good for the Xbox One.
Now, backwards compatibility is still a problem for the PS4, but at least there is a way to play PS3, PS2, and PS1 games on the PS4. Microsoft says that they "developed the system for a new generation of games," so you might not play a 360 game on it in any way possible.

Wait till after E3 before making a decision, by then you will know what sort of games are coming out on both consoles as well as what the PS4 actually looks like.
Edit: PS4 is also confirmed no backwards compatibility.
