Should I get my bf a birthday gift?

His birthday is soon but I'm not Sure if I should get him a gift or not.. I'm only 14 so I can't go drive and get him something (I live far from a target/Walmart) and I don't have money.. Do you think he will be sad that I don't get him anything? but i feel kinda bad since its his 16th birthday :( Or should I just send him a long meaningful birthday text? Lol idk what to do. Help!!

Make him a card and bake some cookies for him. Also make a colorful paper chain as long as you like ( use construction paper ) and write on each linc a birthday wish you are wishing him. It would be indeed sad if you did not so something to mark the occasion of his birthday at least with some little gift.

Send him a text but he's 16, he doesn't care. No offense. His feelings will be a little hurt. But he'll understand and get over it. Tell a friend or older sibling to buy something small for you. Like a tee shirt.

If you want to show him you care, but you're broke, mail him a nice hand-written letter. It doesn't have to be all lovey-dovey, but make it sincere and personal. Hand-written notes mean SO much more than a text. A text is nothing. Trust me, he'll appreciate the effort and personal touch.

properly..yea thats a stable present. yet to me, i think of a miles better present may be the selfmade card with some money in it or a giftcard. yet yea, i think of thats a funky theory for a "coupon" for a hand-crafted meal =D perhaps alongside with it, supply some money too.

    bake him a cake

you probably have cake mix at home, follow the directions

frost it, and write happy birthday on it

he'll love it and appreciate it much more

    then a T shirt

If you really cared about him, you would. He is probably expecting you to anyway so why not?
