How to overcome nervousness?
okay so today is our last day of baseball tryouts and I'm always nervous with this type of thing but never before because its highschool and I'm going in as a freshman to play summer baseball so I can play in the reg season. I'm pretty good the thing I'm nervous about though is that I'm a freshman and I'm new.

Nervousness alone cannot be tackled in our body. It cannot be done in isolation.
In general our thoughts, words and deeds should be homogeneous with superior intentions without any ulterior motive behind it. We should keep our mind always strong, dynamic, pure, fresh, alert, vigilant, sharp and bright. Do some meditation exercise for this purpose. Besides we should have pure memory power, our nerves should be strong. Do some yoga exercise to keep the nerves strong. Our physical body should be kept clean and neat and we should present a good personality always. These are the basic requirements. A sound mind in a sound body is a must for everyone.
If we do it halfheartedly in a haphazard way, it will lead to doubt, confusions, suspicions and fear. It may further complicate the issue.

It's okay if your nervous. I was new to my school this year as a junior and I tried out for dance team. What helped me get over my anxiety was by talking to the other people trying out, making jokes and stuff like that to ease the tension because it turned out the other kids were just as nervous as me. Just try to have fun with the other kids.
