I have a 2004 Honda Civic manual, my car wont start. All the lights works perfectly, battery is good but once I press on the clutch and turn my key to start my car nothing happens. gave it a jump nothing, switch the batteries nothing, removed the battery and just attached the jumper cables to another battery from another car to my battery cables and nothing, tried banging the starter and nothing, tried to pop the clutch and nothing. Any ideas?

Your timing belt might be broken.Avoid starting the car any further because it will cause more damage such as bent valves.Tow it to your trusted mechanic.

First thing to check would be the engine itself. If you can locate the crankshaft pulley and fit a socket on it, look up WHICH WAY YOUR CRANK TURNS SO YOU DO NOT TURN YOUR ENGINE BACKWARDS, then attempt to turn the pulley in the correct direction. If you absolutely cannot move the pulley your engine is most likely seized. Check the neutral safety switch behind your clutch pedal, if not depressed fully the car wont start. If thats good, check AIR, FUEL, SPARK. to check air, remove your air filter and make sure its not clogged up. To check fuel, connect a pressure gauge to the shrader valve on the fuel rail and turn the key to the on position a few times to see if you are getting fuel to the engine. To check spark*, pull one of your ignition coils off of the spark plug and CAREFULLY touch it to a ground on the car frame or engine. If you see spark, thats not the problem. After all this if the car still wont start, try to get your hands on a scan tool to pull some codes. *This step can be potentially hazardous and I am not responsible if you get electrically shocked*

you will desire to systematically troubleshoot. turn key on, does battery supply skill (lights fixtures, radio, wipers, etc. artwork)? If no longer then battery is lifeless. undesirable battery no longer keeping can charge or alternator now no longer charging. next attempt to start motor vehicle. Does starter turnover or in simple terms click......you will desire to determine the place the difficulty is remoted and initiate corrections there.
