Isn't it wrong to reproduce just for preserving the human race?
Every individual has the right to live (unless he/she does or is about to do a really bad crime) AND the right to not live..
Life just happens out of necessity in Physics..
If there are Gods, then they were also made by Physics..
So isn't it time to stop reproducing, now that we can establish the right that I stated above?
Is it that you're scared that you will be punished if you don't reproduce?
I'd be delighted to know your reason (if you have one) in support of Human Reproduction :-)
Thank You

All other mammals on earth reproduce to preserve their species and will always continue to do so when possible.
Im not saying I think our way of life is more important either, we should have more respect for the earth

I'm sure preserving the human race is the least important reason why a couple chooses to have offspring (at least in developed nations). The global human population is currently at ~7 billion, and this number will exponentially rise in the next few decades. Preservation is the least of our worries.
In the past, our hominid ancestors needed to copulate to ensure the survival of their species. The need to reproduce was instinctively hardwired in our brain, but now some of us occasionally engage in pre-marital intercourse for non-reproductive purposes - simply because it feels good.
It would be difficult to fully suppress our sexual urges and desires; including the ideal notion of raising a family. Dawkins's gene-centered view explains the reproductive act between organisms as a way for genes to propagate themselves. Either way you look at it, reproducing is essential for the continuation of life.
