kindle fire stuck in boot logo and computer wont recognize?
I've had the kindle fire since it first came out, and I just picked it up again after months of non use. I charged it up and turned it on and it worked fine, and this i restarted it and its stuck on the boot logo, and refuses to get off of it. and I've plugged it into my pc and my pc will not recognize it.
so if anyone out there knows a thing or two about a thing or two, maybe tell me how to get my pc to recognize my kindle fire, and get it out of the boot logo? or should i just throw it back in that draw that i found it in and forget about it?

It's definitely no good for the device, for leaving it not used / not charged for months.
Anyway, have you tried to reboot your Kindle? There's a good discussion here on how to reboot the Kindles, as well as solving the problems on charging / battery / frozen screen issues on the Kindle Fire:

It could also be that you're in recovery mode. If you get stuck in a weird boot mode, after rooting. Your probably fine. Do this, basically run KFU and select the "boot mode" menu option, but don't have your kindle fire on when you run it. Just connected. KFU turns it on.

Me gusta estos dispositivos y no es el primero y seguro no va a hacer el ultimo que compro de Amazon, hace una semana me he comprado un Kindle perfecto, no me cansa la vista, se lee muy bien sin reflejos de luz y he podido acabar un libro sin que se acabe la batería antes, excelente compra.
