What is wrong with my dog?

She is a 10-year old Shetland Sheepdog who recently developed some problems. Her pupils are on the outside of her eyes so it looks like she is looking outwards in both directions. The white part of her eyes is also pretty bloodshot.

She also has a hard bump about 1/2 inch below her eyes on the bridge of her nose.

She is fairly lethargic too and makes more noise when breathing.

We will take her to the vet soon, but what do you think is wrong with her.

Update:

Could it be glaucoma?

Update 2:

The bump is more like a bulge.

Update 3:

I know that she should be taken to the vet; that is fairly obvious. I am just trying to get some suggestions on what it might be.

You don't need to take her to a vet "soon", you need to take her to a vet now.

What you've described could be attributed to any number of things. Some more serious than others.

Without seeing the dog then there's no way anyone here can help you.

You need to take her to a vet for a thorough examination. They're the ones with the qualifications, they'll be able to look over her properly and give you an accurate diagnosis, rather than a guestimate that you'll get here.

The eye symptoms and mass on her face indicates a neurological issue, which could be serious or could just mean a pill. The lethargy and heavy breathing are probably her response to the pain.
