Facebook Mobile in UAE not working?

Does Facebook Mobile [sending and receiving SMS messages from Facebook] in UAE not working anymore? Does Etisalat/DU blocking them?

Update:

@Word of Mouse: It worked perfectly before through Etisalat or DU, but I am not the only one from which the service is disrupted.

    I don't think that is the case , I think perhaps facebook has contracted the SMS with certain service providers that do not have service in UAE. Or it could be a technical thing.

    Remember when BBM was down last year ... it turned out later it was from their own servers not Etisalat.
