How do you all feel about interracial relationships?
Have you ever been in one? If so, how is it? Does your family approve of it, should it matter to them?
@Ricki i do agree, but now days racism is on a rise most ppl would not agree with it. Not that i care what other ppl think. I have dated ppl outside my race and was bullied by others that had a problem with it. I just want to get a feed back in to what others think about it.

It shouldn't matter to anyone but it depends on your family on how they will react. A guy that treats you well, is friendly to your family, dresses nicely and has a good future is going to be easier to like than a guy of any race wearing his pants low and covered in tattoos.

I wish interracial relationships didn't have a title. It was just relationships between two people who are of different colors. Anyways, I'm mostly black and last year I was in a relationship with a half-white, half-Mexican guy. We talked about our different races a couple of times but only when it came up. I lived in Texas at the time and whenever we would kiss in public, people would stare. I remember one time a lady crashed her cart in another aisle after she saw us. Eventually my parents knew about us. My mom used to joke, where did she go wrong with me? The only reaction he ever mentioned his family other then the ones I met would react was his grandfather. Anyway, we were happy. The reason we ended up breaking up had nothing to do with being from other races.
However, for a while now I have a thing about not dating black guys (long psychological story). My grandpa doesn't understand it while my dad worries about my limiting myself. Other than that it's fine.
The only added part to relationships that interracial couples have is each persons reaction to the situation. Some people won't actually date someone from another race or limit interactions to sex or won't marry a person from certain races. Like I said, it depends on the person.

Yes. 90% of people are fine with it. There will always be the ignorant 10% who say "I don't know about that. Wouldn't you rather be with a nice (your race) person?"
As long as the person is positive and treats you well, it's a non-issue. Any minor culture differences are usually worked out without a hitch.
