No. It is unpatriotic to engage in runaway deficit spending while our economy is booming and tax revenues are up. That is a time when we should be paying back our past debts. However, when the economy is weak, deficit spending becomes necessary to promote economic growth. Promoting economic growth is patriotic.
Conservatives always ignore relevant facts, like the state of the economy, when trying to justify their views. The have a lot more "inconvenient truths" than just what Al Gore is obsessed about.

The "unpatriotic" claim is a bit exaggerated, but you are correct in saying that in 2006, then-Jr.-Senator Barack Obama voted "No" on raising the debt ceiling for FY 2006 that began on October 1, 2006 and continued on through September 30, 2007. Then-Senator Obama chose to vote against the debt ceiling raise to "make a statement" that called for more "fiscal discipline"...but he did so while knowing that the vital measure to pay our already-spent debt obligations was going to pass (which it did, with a 52 to 48 vote for the raise).
Context: Our national debt stood at a whopping $8,506,973,899,215.23 (more than $8.5 TRILLION) and climbing. Compounded interest alone on this debt within the 2006 FY budget was $211.1 BILLION, and our deficit at the time (with war costs deliberately kept OFF THE BOOKS by the lawless Bush/Cheney administration) was out of control, especially in light of the LOST REVENUES from the UNPAID-FOR Bush/Cheney tax cuts and the borrowing from communist China to pay for the GOP's UNFUNDED MANDATES and both wars. The vote was cast to protest this irresponsible condition, but also cast knowing that the raise would go through. This cannot be said for what happened in the rightwing-extremists-controlled House of Representatives that caused this nation to lose (for the first time in history) its vital AAA+ rating, even though some of the less extremist Republicans who voted no probably had some of the same concerns expressed by the 2006 Junior Senator from Illinois. The fiscally ILLITERATE and NATION-DESTROYING "teabaggers" are not included in this defense, however--they were attempting to hold this nation's sovereignty HOSTAGE to push a destructive and PROVABLY WRONG agenda.
I'm hoping there's a "learning curve" for the in-hiding moderates within the Republican party (like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, et al.) that will kick in for the upcoming vote to raise the debt ceiling, especially since the Obama administration has successfully cut the deficit more than in half as a % of our nation's GDP.

How many times did you say he raised thr debt ceiling?
During Bush Presidency, Current GOP Leaders Voted 19 Times To Increase Debt Limit By $4 Trillion
After pushing the government to brink of shutdown last week, Republican Congressional leaders are now preparing to push America to the edge of default by refusing to increase the nation’s debt limit without first getting Democrats to concede to large spending cuts.
But while the four Republicans in Congressional leadership positions are attempting to hold the increase hostage now, they combined to vote for a debt limit increase 19 times during the presidency of George W. Bush. In doing so, they increased the debt limit by nearly $4 trillion.
At the beginning of the Bush presidency, the United States debt limit was $5.95 trillion. Despite promises that he would pay off the debt in 10 years, Bush increased the debt to $9.815 trillion by the end of his term, with plenty of help from the four Republicans currently holding Congressional leadership positions: Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl. ThinkProgress compiled a breakdown of the five debt limit increases that took place during the Bush presidency and how the four Republican leaders voted:
June 2002: Congress approves a $450 billion increase, raising the debt limit to $6.4 trillion. McConnell, Boehner, and Cantor vote “yea”, Kyl votes “nay.”
May 2003: Congress approves a $900 billion increase, raising the debt limit to $7.384 trillion. All four approve.
November 2004: Congress approves an $800 billion increase, raising the debt limit to $8.1 trillion. All four approve.
March 2006: Congress approves a $781 billion increase, raising the debt limit to $8.965 trillion. All four approve.
September 2007: Congress approves an $850 billion increase, raising the debt limit to $9.815 trillion. All four approve.
Database searches revealed no demands from the four legislators that debt increases come accompanied by drastic spending cuts, as there are now. In fact, the May 2003 debt limit increase passed the Senate the same day as the $350 billion Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
When Bush was in office, the current Republican leaders viewed increasing the debt limit as vital to keeping America’s economy running. But with Obama in the White House, it’s nothing more than a political pawn.

Obama is the greatest threat the US has ever faced, hands down. And based on his Reelection the majority of the population actually wants to see the US destroyed by him. Of course with so many US Schools dedicated to indoctrinating youth to despise everything this Country ever stood for, should we be surprised.

The Debt raised for very different reasons during Obama's term than in Bush's term, who inherited a country with a deficit surplus and strong economy.

Perhaps it is more a case of him experiencing more and knowing he needed to make a different decision. Have you never learned or changed your mind about something?
Clarify perhaps. If he has offended someone I am certain he is gracious enough to apologize. Ask him.

No, dumbo, Bush raised it SEVEN times, Reagan SEVENTEEN times.

Depends how you define it.
As defined by Obama, Obama is indeed VERY unpatriotic.
