U.S. District Judge rules against Arizona Sheriff for Racial Profiling. Agree or disagree?
Judge Murray Snow ruled against Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio on the grounds he violated the constitutional rights of Latinos who were stopped and detained as part of a crackdown on illegal immigrants and that Arpaio’s office cannot detain Latino drivers & passengers only on the suspicion they are illegal immigrants or use race as a reason to stop a vehicle.
The Sheriff’s office was also ordered not to detain Latinos stopped for a traffic violation longer than needed to resolve the violation. Latinos, since Jan. 2007, have been stopped, detained, questioned or searched by sheriff deputies in Maricopa County.
Lina R: I don’t totally agree with you, but can certainly understand why you might hold this opinion. I cannot assume that each & every Latino that makes up Arpaio’s 90% of county population contributes to 90% of the crimes committed by Latinos. There could easily be far less than 90% who are actually committing 90% of the crimes.

I guess Judge Murray Snow forgot all about the law the Arizona Governor put in place......
Besides, Sheriff Joe Arpaio is NOT racial profiling if 90% of this county contains Latinos and the Latinos commit 90% of the crimes.
If the Latinos don't like it - then they can return to Mexico!

Disagree......
Since 98% of all illegal immigrants in the US are latino/hispanic and primarily from mexico it only stands to reason to check them.
Claims of Racial profiling concerning immigration is just being used as a mask to allow the illegals to remain free and not have a care in the world about being deported...
