Agree or Disagree: There's been a lot of violence in the world, lately?
I know it's always this way, but lately there's been a few random attacks on innocent people.
It's not just in America. I'm talking about the British soldier that was attacked with a hatchet. Innocent soldier that was just walking. Anyways, i'll let the answers come and I will be quiet. I am a soldier and It's pathetic that people are that way.

Violence, "as a whole" is WAY down. There are FAR less wars going on then there used to be, violent crime is way lower than it was even in the 1970s...
Basically, the reason we're noticing there are more random attacks on people is because "the bigger stuff has gone down dramatically."
If you're used to having herds of elephants in your front yard, and then one day they're all gone, you're finally going to notice the smaller animals.
Which were always there.
