Need help with my driving directions?
I would like to just start up my car and go. But no I get lost very often im not sure why this happens do I need to read maps more although I never see anyone reading maps they just start up and go they just know where there going. Should I go on an adventure and just get lost and try to find my way back. I have problems with going to more than one place like the mall and then going across town to the zoo. If anyone has any tips it would be appreciated.

Yes, get someone else to drive.

I know where I'm going because I drive the same route every day. It becomes a habit.
Start to remember landmarks. For example, I usually pass a dealership with Corvettes for sale on my way to school. Remember where that is.
Learn the names of the roads you drive on.
Use Google Maps, since it's interactive and can show you directions.
Almost nobody just goes for a drive without having looked up their route online and have it planned out. I want to take my dad's Trans Am on the mountain loop highway out here, for example. I wouldn't just go drive there without looking up how to get there, and what route to take once I'm done driving on it to get back home.

I am very good with my directions. You could put me 3 towns over (give me the town name and my starting mark) and I can find my way back easily.
I guess when you are driving remember road names.
Ex. I don't like polebridge but you can get to walmart that way or you can take main street and take a left
Get your mom or someone who lives with or in the same town to drive with you so you can ask them "where would I end up if I take this next left? "Should I take this road or will it be shorter for this one"
and you can have them be like "Drive me to the zoo" and you drive, if you get lost they will steer you in the right direction.
Remember land points as well.:]
Good luck!
EDIT: It is also good to have a map in your head.
My town "Williamsville" is between "Trumansville" and "Creekside" but "Creekside" is also near "Rushmore"

As you get more experienced driving around your local town, city or area, you'll learn how use landmarks as reference points.
