Breast lump. Not sure what it is.?

I am a 21 year old female. I have noticed that there is a lump on my right breast. I have had for about a month or so. I have noticed lately that that same breast is noticeably larger than the other. I know that they are not going to be the same in any woman. Its not really painful but can be tender. It feels heavier than the other breast when I take my bra off. I don't know what I should do or if I should be so worried. Maybe I'm paranoid. I just need a little advise. There is no history of breast cancer in my family. Help please.

At 21 your lump is most probably a cyst. Most cysts are benign. There is something called "fibrocystic disease" which means you have "lumpy breasts". It is nothing to worry about but you do need to get checked by a doctor. ANY lump at any age needs to be checked. Chances are you are fine and the lump is due to your changing hormones. But please see a doctor. Cut out caffeine before any mammogram or test you may have, it can cause more pain. I had the same thing at your age. I am now a cancer survivor in my 50's but my cancer was NOT related to fibrocystic disease at 20. Good luck!
