Dying natural hair with semi permanent hair dye ?

I take care of my hair a lot eventhought I still have a little bit of breakedge ... Point is I'm tired of my dark brown hair so I want to dye it black !! With semi permanent hair dye ? Will it damage ? What brand should I use? Will it show roots? Will it give it a weird texture ?? Is it better if I just don't do anything ?

Dying your hair darker isn't very damaging, it actually makes it softer most of the time. It's dying your hair lighter that damages it. I would suggest using loreal feria, if you can find a shade of that you like, but I'm not positive that it's semi-permanent. As long as you follow the directions, it should cover the roots, and it's unlikely that it would fry your hair or anything like that.

I suggest you go to a professional salon so that they can suggest what better move to be done in your hair.
