Where do you buy nook ebooks from in the uk?

I am trying to choose between a Kindle and a Nook, I cannot seem to find a website that sells ebooks to the UK market - the Barnes and Noble site is all in US$. I want to be able to compare the prices and availability of Nook ebooks with what Amazon has to offer. Do I actually have to buy a Nook before I can do that?

Just go for the Nook official website, that's a UK section for Nook books, and prices are in GBP. You don't need to have a Nook to check there, just go to check with your computer.

I suggest you to go for the Kindle, as it has much better support in the UK. If you're in the UK, you can also find a good user discussion here on whether to choose the Nook or the Kindle:

Amazon offers a bigger range of books (cheap ones and free) than nook, Also technical support for Kindle are better than what Nook can provide.

you can compare the devices themselves first before going further to check the availability of their books
