Hey, I'm a phycologist. The obvious sensory organ would be the ear , why? During auditory perception the ear is constantly being stimulated by various sounds (hertz and decibels). The ears threshold (point of stimulation) is above 0 Hertz. This clearly indicates how sensitive the 'ear' is towards particular stimuli. The tympanic membrane (ear drum) faces a large risk of being blown everyday- that's why when we hear sounds with slightly higher frequencies or amplitudes ,the auditory canals automatically tighten its muscles because the eardrum is extremely sensitive.
