Problem with bookmarks on Firefox browser?
I have a 2006 gateway laptop. Firefox is the browser I use. This morning, all the bookmarks disappeared. I followed the instructions on Firefox's help section, which included creating a save file for the bookmarks. This worked until I restarted the computer. Every time I shut the computer down and turn it on again, the bookmarks disappear and so does the save file. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Help much appreciated.

No need to re-install the browser. If you have saved bookmarks file (by export the bookmarks), just delete your Firefox profile C:\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles. Make sure you have closed your Firefix.
After profile deleted, reopen your Mozilla Firefox and import your bookmarks into new profile.

Press the (ALT) key in your keyboard, that must exhibit the Menu Bar. From the, click on View -> Toolbars and be certain the address bar select (ticked) a different option to do it is to press the (ALT) key the right click the Menu bar the click "handle" or "address Bar", whicj ever one you see. That will have to clear up the predicament. Word: there are different bars there like Bookmarks so mess around to get it the way you find it irresistible.
