Can I get any money out of foreign coins/bills?

Question

From someone who collects money and such, could I really get much profit out of foreign money? I have:
1 Iraqi bill (I don't know much about it, really. It's 250 Dinars. The links below are pictures of the front and back of the bill)

1 2004 $1 Mexican coin
1 1984 20 cent Mexican coin
1 2002 20 cent Mexican coin
1 2003 10 cent Mexican coin
1 1981 Canadian quarter
1 1998 Australian coin (has Elizabeth II's head on the front and a 5 on the back)
1 unknown coin with Elizabeth II's head on the front along with "D-G-REG-F-D" 1997 on the right hand side and it says Five Pence on the back
1 $1 John Quincy Adams gold piece

I just wanna know if any of these things have value before I try to sell them and make a fool of myself, or end up ripping someone else (or myself) off. If they do have any value in the USA, how much are they worth? Thanks in advance for any HELPFUL information :)

You won't make any money on this currency. You will pay a exchange rate for the one bill at a bank, and check with coin shops for the coins, but they probably won't be interested in the Mexican coins.

Because they are current and have no "preciouse" metal in them and the Iraqi note is also current, there is not much meat (or value) to make in them. However, there is always a numismatic value and coin collectors always buy coins and paper money even if current. Just don't expect to get much of anything if any.

You can try squeezing them but I don't think any more money will come out. 


All of your currency is current, so it would be subject to whatever exchange rate is appropriate.
