Can someone give me some advice about a scab growing on my dog?

My little three year old Chihuahua-Jack Russell cross has a small scab about one quarter inch square on the back of his head between his ears. He does not have fleas or ticks and is healthy. I don't believe it is due to an injury. Can someone give me some advice about this? I started putting antibiotic ointment on it this morning.

    Betadine antibacterial.

    It is suitable for dogs and works very well.

    But if your not sure go to your vet.

    With out seeing this it could be anything and you should not put anything on your dog with out running it past a vet .
