If players who came out of HS like Kobe and LeBron went to college...?

Would they be better players? Worse? The same?

They'd be the same at this point in their career, but they would have reached that superstar level sooner than they did. Kobe spent his first few years on the Laker bench behind Eddie Jones, while he adjusted to the NBA talent level. And Lebron wasn't even an all-star his rookie year. A step up in competition and a real coach (they don't allow those in the NBA outside San Antonio) would have made them better, smarter players when they entered the NBA.

The Same. But for Kobe, he would've went to Dunk. Number one pick, and avg 20 4 3 EASILY.

More likely worse. Collegiate athletes with the option to go pro generally take it, because the next year they might not have the same season which would hinder their draft value. That's why a lot of athletes opt to go pro earlier.
