Why is the love of Yhwh greater than the love of Allah?

How many parents would not love their children even when they did wrong?

God's love for us is unconditional. God is love. God loved us even though we sinned against him.

God's love is unconditional.. even though we sinned God provided his own flesh and blood to save us from our sin.

Why is the love of a parent greater than the love of Allah?

3:32 Say: "Obey Allah and His Apostle": But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.

28:77 "But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: But do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: For Allah loves not those who do mischief."

Shouldn't the love of a perfect God be greater than the love of man?

Update:

Rengle, you quote the book of Wisdom which is apocrypha.

1 John 4:

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might alive through him.

10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Mat. 5:

44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Update 2:

Abdulmalik, Have you actually read Gospel? Here are the words of Christ that you apparently never read/

John 10: 14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Update 3:

Rengle your problem with the Biblical hell is that you are thinking of the Quranic hell... Biblical hell is not the lake of fire my friend and separation from God is death, it is the reson Christ laid down his life that through his righteousness he overcame temptation, sin and death.. Christ overcame death for man that we can be righteously joined to God which is eternal life.

Update 4:

Rengle, No I am NOT JW I am a Bible believing Christian.. study the Bible rather than following myths.. the Bible refers to the lake of fire in Revelation, hell and death are thrown into the lake of fire in a vision of John..

Update 5:

Rengle I mean no disrespect but to say the Bible does not teach the Hell that many people simply accept which is a myth not Biblical.. The Bible teaches Hell is the place of death. Many places you will see the Bible refer to hell and death together as in John's vision.. hell and death are thrown into the lake of fire... Hell is the place of death.

Update 6:

Sami. where are the scriptures that say God created hell for those who don't love him back? The Gospel says that Christ sacrificed his flesh and blood for sinners, all of us.. We separated ourselves from God who sustains our life. God provides the answer to that separation through Christ.

Update 7:

Justme, The God of Abraham I worship is eternal, so there is a big difference between the fact that a sinful man dies due to separation from God, through sin.. and a god that created some he hated for the sole purpose of eternal torture. The true God paid the price for us while we were sinners. God is love and loves us all.

Update 8:

Cindy, the wall of text and the change of subject are in response to an answerer. The original question was not intended to be a discussion of hellfire. The point to my question was a distinct difference in the God of Abraham and Muhammad's god Allah. The true God of Abraham has an eternal plan of salvation before the creation of man. My argument was never that all would be saved.

Update 9:

Seen, the fact is the Bible is many times the size of the Quran, none the less as I previously stated the Biblical God is NOT the Quranic god and one clear point in this is the plan of God is the eternal salvation of man. The Quranic Allah has no such plan for mankind as a matter of fact Allah claims to have created some for the sole purpose of eternal burning of their flesh. Not at all the same God even disagreeing to a point that Yhwh warns against those who would teach of such a god that denies the Father and the Son as antichrist.

Yahweh didn't tell us to slaughter all those who don't agree with us, as many who believe in Allah are doing. Yahweh sent Yeshua (Jesus) to be our Lord and Savior and he taught forgiveness and compassion, even to love your enemies. Since Allah is unknowable, who is actually teaching his so-called followers to discriminate against Jews and Christians. God is knowable through Christ and only through Christ.

    Good question/comment, DJ.

Aside -- it would be more effective if it were shorter. Your text is good, but people won't read it if it looks too long. Blogs are better for that, and you can reference a blog post from here. I find that people do read those -- they expect them to be a little bit longer.

So . . . hell is a problem for us as Christians because for many years and especially since Augustine the church has held to a pagan view of hell. It's probable that Muhammad got his ideas of hell from Augustinians when he was traveling with his uncle's caravan as a boy. As you most likely know, the word 'hell' (or a Greek word of comparable meaning) is not found in scripture. Descriptions of the lake of fire in RevJohn are most reasonably taken as symbolic considering the apocalyptic genre of the book.

You sound like an Arminian or at least a Calv-Arminian (which is kind of self contradictory, though that's where I was for years). IMO, both the Calvs and the Arms are right about some things. The Arms know that God loves all people and that He desires all people to be saved. The Calvs know that God is all powerful and can accomplish anything He desires and that He will always do the best He can for those He loves. I know that saving all while not violating their free will is something that, logically, God CAN do. It is a thing that can be done given unlimited time and the ability to heal irrationality, bitterness, lack of information, etc.

Jesus died for all, and all sin has been paid for. There is no reason or justification to punish anyone at all since the sins have been covered. There IS however reason for remedial chastisement in order to instruct and conform beloved children to the image of Christ. Paul said on Mars Hill that we are all His offspring. He was talking to a non-Christian audience when He said this. There are various degrees of being "children of God" in that some are minor children (teknon) still in need of a governor (law) while others have matured enough to be considered heirs (Romans 8 -- huios). The duty of the elder children includes shepherding the younger and helping them to become more and more responsible.

Terrifying them with cautionary tales such as a fiery hell where they will be tormented forever by the Father (who they assure the children, loves them unconditionally) if they don't fall in line. Whether we believe this or not, it is quite simply a lie. Most atheists can spot this as irrational. Why can't we?

There are specific belief differences between Islam and Christianity, but Allah and Yahweh are both the same God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.

You'll see in the texts of the bible much of the same intolerance and cruelty as in the Quran. In fact, there are more cruel or violent passages in the bible than Quran (I'm not defending either).

Number of Cruel or Violent Passages:

    Bible: 1214

    Quran: 527

A good argument could be made that either book is the most violent and cruel book ever written. The award would go to one or the other, for neither has any close competitors.

of all there is only ONE God who exists in Three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Bible reveals that the True God warned Israel in Ex 20:2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. Ex 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before Me. Allah was and is a false pagan moon god who later was an invention of pagans who rejected the True God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. If One would honestly read the Bible you would clearly see that God and His Name is Elohim which is a plural person pronoun word describing plurality in the God Head. All other gods are inventions of mankind. The ONE true God became Man in the Person of Jesus Christ and came into the world He Himself Created to die for the sin of the world because all mankind has broken Gods Law. God being a just and righteous God cannot forgive sin He has to punish it. But His love for mankind sent His Son where God the father poured His wrath out on His Son when His blood was shed and Jesus experience the separation fro God that you and I would have for all eternity in the lake of Fire. He saved us Titus 3:5. We are all reconciled if we will believe God 2Cor. 5:18-19. We are given the free gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, Rom.6:23. Its a free gift and not by any human works or performances done by us. Eph. 2:8-9. Again read John's Gospel in 3:15-18 to clearly see all that God requires form you to be saved is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, Acts 16:30-31. Hope this helps.

    Wisdom 14:9-11

9 Ungodly people and these ungodly things they make are equally hated by God, 10 who will punish both the things made and the people who made them. 11 And so God's judgment will fall on pagan idols, because, even though they are made from something God created, they became horrible things that trap the souls of foolish people.

    ===

And as a user wrote :

Yes He loves sinners so much that He will punish them.

    Your own Bible discredits you.

Does God love murderers? Does God love rapists? No Allah does not love wrong doers.

If God loved wrongdoers then what is the difference between the love of God given to believers and non believers? A sinner could easily say "God loves me" while comitting a bunch of sins and not bother about repenting/asking for forgiveness.

    ---

Even if the verse wasn't True ... and it may be ... it is still nonsense that God will admit someone who He " loves " to Hell forever ... so saying He doesn't is much more logical ...

    ---

So , are you Jw's ? Is the Hell the grave ? is it Gehenna ?

    ---

" rather than following myths "

So , i am following myths ... Thanks for your respect .., However ... Then what is Hell according to you ?

    ---

and what is the lake of fire according to you ?

Nah..to me they're both the same,The One God. Both creates and destroys..both loving and caring when They need to. See how furios Yahweh was towards us till He said He regrets creating us so in a way hoping the big flood will wipe clean the Earth from human race. So for me..in my opinion,They are the same. You can't be God if you want only to love but refuse to destroy, you can't be God when you want only to care and refuse to punish. Balance in both what made God,God..

Just my himble point of view.. :) Just PLUR,bro.

God loves you unconditionally, but created Hell in case you you don't love Him back.

Allah created Hell and Heaven, and loves the good-doers.

I guess one god makes more sense than the other.
