wont start has been sitting for awhile?
I have a 2003 Ford Expedition 4.6L v8 I blew the transmission awhile and I am trying to fix it, when I parked it the truck ran fine it has sat there for almost 2 years and the battery has been out of it. It will not start, all the electronics work fine, but I cant get it to start what could be the problem?

Are you using the same battery? Have you had it load tested? Did you prime the fuel lines? Did you change out the air filter and the fuel filter.

is it getting fuel? is it getting spark? is the engine turning over? have rodents gotten into the engine compartment? You need to inspect it its hard to figure out what it could be by simply asking "what could make it not start"
