What is a good heart rate while working out?

My heart rate gets up to 190 and over usually when i work out. I've been told i have a fast resting heart rate but I'm trying to get in really good shape and i want to lower it how do i do that?

    Exercise is that lower resting heart rate tends to be of the endurance nature, walking, jogging, cycling, and swimming. None of the P90X style of workouts will increase your cardiovascular ability which is the only way to lower resting heart rate.

    It should be noted that if you actually want to lower your heart rate you have to engage in some kind of cardiovascular The only way to lower your resting heart rate is to engage in some type of endurance training. This means that you can throw out the gym workouts. You need to engage in this type of activity for a minimum of at least 1 hour per day. No gym is going to let you tie up one of their machines for an hour. So you are going to have to take your exercise outdoors. Walking, running, or cycling are the best forms of cardiovascular exercise. And the best forms of these are the ones that you do on a path not a treadmill.

    By the way, lowering your resting heart rate can take months of daily training. Not everything involved with physical fitness can be fixed or attained with a video.

    The normal human heart rate ranges from 60–100 bpm. Bradycardia refers to a slow heart rate, defined as below 60 bpm. Tachycardia refers to a fast heart rate, defined as above 100 bpm. When the heart rate is not regular in a regular pattern, this is referred to as an arrhythmia.

    People who are physically fit and active usually will not experience a big change in heart rate. stay fit, and your heart rate will be normal
