What do you think about this makeup look?

What do you think about this makeup look, I'm planning to wear this at school

Foundation

Powder

Shimmery nude eyeshadow

Black winged eyeliner on top lid

Mascara

Lipstain

Lipgloss

Do you think it's too much I'm thinking of taking out the eyeshadow and changing the lipstain and lipgloss to a nude lipstick

10 points:)

Sounds beautiful. There are a few things I would change though..

I wouldn't wear the powder over the foundation, it may look like a bit much. If you want to give your face a finished look, I'd wear a little bit of concealer under the eyes. The concealer can be liquid or powder (whichever you prefer), but be sure to find one that is close to your skin tone, and a few shades lighter to blend with the foundation.

As for the lips, liplgoss is totally appropriate, but I'd wait on the lip stain (:

Finally, as for your eyes... I love the idea of the black winged eyeliner and the mascara (: be careful to not over do it though... the eyeshadow sounds nice, but get lots of practice so that you will apply the correct amount and shape! I am sure you can do it, I'm no artist but managed to teach myself how to use loose powder in 7th grade. I'm a sophomore now.

I hope this helped and I wish you the best of luck... stay beautiful!!

I think its fine but make sure that you keep it very light with the foundation and a light cover of powder so it doesn't look over the top.

I think the eyeshadow is a nice touch so leave that in, and changing the lipstain and lip gloss to lipstick is a better choice.

  • A bit too much for school.

Take out the eyeshadow and just have the eyeliner with foundation, a little powder. Use a lipstain / gloss that's close to your lip colour and keep the mascara to a minimum. You won't really see your eyelashes if you're wearing eyeliner anyway so it's pretty pointless.

I wear makeup to school everyday and you know what? I find that people judge you if you wear too much makeup. So I think that perhaps just lining your waterline with a pencil on your upper eyelids instead of having a winged look would look much more natural and also just as dramatic as it really brings out your eyes and eyelashes without being so obvious. Also I think that as long as the eye shadow isn't too obvious and all its really doing is making your eye shiny then go ahead, but if its more than a few shades different to your skin tone then I would say no. Also I think that just clear lip gloss is AMAZING, but this is also because I already have nice coloured lips, so if your going for a lip stain please don't go for something so obvious. The best look to go with at school is the flawless but subtle look because there is a negative connotation for young people wearing heavy makeup, it makes people look a little too try hard. I think that you'll look amazing if you wore that anywhere else other than school though :) good luck!

maybe it's a little too noticeable, so this is what i'd do (what i wear :P):

-Primer: if your skin is oily and makeup fades away very fast, use this. makeup will last a lot longer and your skin will not look oily and shiny. (i use moisturizing cream first because my skin is dry)

-Foundation: the SAME color as your skin. if not it will look cakey and ugly. foundation must be really natural! it must'nt look like you're hiding something. essence makeup to match is awesome: it adapts to your skin colour and is really natural.

You can put on a little powder on top, but if you already used the primer, i wouldn't do this.

-Concealer: apply a little under your eyes if you have dark circles or on your acne, if you have, of course :) it has to be a biiit lighter than your foundation.

-Mascara: it really opens your eyes. change it every 3 months since it will get full of bacteria and clumpy. don't put too much, stay natural: you're at school, not at a party!

-Pencil: a little line on your upper lid, it has to be unnoticeable. it will look like you have more eyelashes. if you dar, put it under your upper eyelashes (yeah, the wattery part)

-lipstain or lipgloss: i personally hate nude lipstick (even if it's a trend now). i think lips are one of the most sexy parts of a human and putting them nude is horrible! the lips are one of the most sensual parts of your body, so if you're going to do something to them, accentuate them!!!!

anyways, i'd put some shimmery lipgloss (in pink), or even some vaseline and thats it :)

-you could also put on A LITTLE bit of blush, don't put on too much, it's easy to put on too much!!!

    i'm sure you're beautiful!!!

    hope i helped :)

I think it's a nice make up, though it's a little marked. You can use pink eyeshadow or light colours, your idea is cool, nude lipstick is very refined especially if you're a young girl.

I would take out the eye shadow and when doing your eyeliner only do a very thin line with a small wing :)

Well, lol, it's a little hard to tell what I think about a makeup "look" but cannot see it. You just gave a description so...I'm sure it looks great but kind of hard to judge.

Yeah I like it but I think you should use something lighter than foundation like BB cream:) hope this helps:)
