Shouldn't the IRS make all Americans tax-exempt instead of just the tea party?

why we tax exempt some groups and not all? Shouldn't we have our money? Some of us want to eat lobster and steak.

    I don't mind paying some tax I just think I pay too much. The government is obviously too big and wasteful.

    Any group, liberal or conservative can apply for tax exempt status.
