I cannot see Arsenal competing for the title any time soon?

Wenger did say he will buy this window and isn't afraid to spend big. It's evident that Arsenal NEED to spend big on at least a couple of players (a holding midfielder and a striker IMO). Also the odd signing in defence won't go astray either.

Like I said, there's no reason to assume Arsenal won't buy yet, Wenger said he's planning to so we can only wait and see what he actually does. He has a lot of time to add to the squad.

It's only the 4th of June, and Sanogo is one for the future as we don't really have any young talented strikers at the moment, at least waiting for mid-July until you judge what we're capable in terms of who we've signed.

Also we weren't even that far behind City and Chelsea this year....I mean 5 points off 3nd place, that doesn't sound like a team who's been left behind.

I'm confident we'll strengthen a sufficient amount to at least help us maintain a title challenge next year.

We have a strong CB partneship in Kos and Mertz

A strong midfield partnership in Arteta and Ramsey

We have Cazorla, WIlshere and Walcott.

I think Giroud will step up.

I just think we need one of two new signings and we can compete.

Big players are expected but dont expect many.

We may get 2 but surely one biggie.

You cant see anything but negativity. Everyone signs young players, who cares. We will make some big signings

I cannot see that happening either. I think Arsenal should sign Higuain.

Arsenal arent doing anything with there money. I dont know what they are doing with there money when there are all those expierenced players out there.

Arsenal should/must spend, thats the only way.
